NBC NEWS — Four current or former police officers in Louisville, Kentucky, have been charged with violating Breonna Taylor's civil rights in the 2020 botched raid that led to the young Black woman's death, federal officials said Thursday.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, in announcing the charges, said the Justice Department alleges that the violations "resulted in Ms. Taylor's death."

Detective Joshua Jaynes, with the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department, obtained the no-knock warrant used in the March 13, 2020, search of Taylor's apartment.

The most severe charge is aggravated murder, for the fatal shooting of Officer Tony Mazurkiewicz. The charge carries a sentence of life without parole if convicted. Vickers is also charged with two counts of assault for the shooting of Officer Sino Seng and 15-year-old Tamaia Walker....

LATTSBURGH, N.Y. WNYSR - A Plattsburgh man is facing terroristic charges after allegedly making threats Monday.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office says Chance Roe, 21, of Plattsburgh is accused of making the threats at the Clinton County Department of Social Services.

Police say Roe is charged with making terroristic threats and resisting arrest.

Roe was in court and then released.

He charges are a Class D felony we just learned but the judge refused to set bail.

An 18-year-old high school student on Long Island is facing charges after allegedly making violent threats toward students and faculty at his school, police said.

According to the Nassau County Police Department, Oketa Orlando Blair Jr. was arrested Tuesday in Old Westbury after expressing "his desire to conduct a violent act towards students and faculty members" at Westbury High School. LATHAM, N.Y: — New York State Police report the arrest of Thomas Greene, 20, of Colonie on Saturday. They said he made a terroristic threat at the Army National Guard Base in Latham.
