Gates man arrested after shots fired outside gas station
Gates, N.Y. — A predicate felon faces charges after he allegedly fired shots at a vehicle stopped in traffic last week.
Police responded to a report of a male shooting at a car Aug. 8 around 5:50 p.m. at Long Pond and Spencerport roads in Gates.
Officers learned the suspect fired multiple round found a handgun at the vehicle, without striking anyone, before getting into a vehicle and driving off.
Authorities executed a search warrant Thursday at a home on Ford Avenue in Gates, taking Christopher Moore, 34, into custody.
Police said they found money and cocaine during the search.
Moore is charged with first-degree attempted assault, second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
