The Gates Police Department arrested Aaron-Jordan Laboy (31 years old from Rochester NY) after multiple calls last evening and early this morning for vehicle larcenies in the Howard Road area. Officers were alerted by residents of someone going through cars and stealing items. While checking the neighborhoods off of Howard Road an overnight shift officer located Laboy who matched multiple descriptions from victims as well as videos of the larceny suspect. After a brief foot chase Laboy was taken into custody. Laboy was found in possession of multiple stolen items from local residents.
Laboy has been charged with one count of GRAND LARCENY 4th DEGREE (E-Felony) and two counts of PETIT LARCENY (A-Misdemeanor). He was arraigned in Gates Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail without bail due to predicate felon status (2 or more previous felony convictions.)
