A man has died after a shooting on Monday night in northwest Rochester.

The Rochester Police Department first responded at 11:30 p.m. Officers found a man in his 40s with multiple gunshot wounds on Driving Park Avenue near School No. 34.

An ambulance took the man to Strong Hospital, where died. There’s no word on any suspects and the RPD major crimes unit will provide more information later.

This is the 65th homicide in 2022.

Police are looking into the motive.
