New York State Sex Offenders registry full of violent predicated offenders how do we control these guys
Today I was listening to a friend of mine he was saying there are over 100 violent predicated sex offenders on the sex offenders registry and was wondering on why New York state doesn't control these guys like the federal Judges when sentencing them to do life probation and this way by controlling them may keep them from really re offending again.
Honestly this was a good point made and I did go through some of the most violent predicated sex offenders on the list most of them do have probation for life and they also must comply with the sex offender guide line
Most of these are supervised probation it could run for 5 to 100 years depends of the judges and the D.A Office
such as no contact with victim (order of protection) which could be permanent or limited statue by law there not allowed to have access to computer or internet if it involves child pornography in most cases the must seek sex treatment and mental treatment and must comply with drug and alcohol testing
However just because your 30 years is up that you can petition relief from the sex offenders registry there chance of it.you committed a felony CLASS D OR A CLASS E FELONY which means that stays on your record for life and cant be removed.even if you petition for it to be ex plunged you can.that also means in certain states like Florida and Texas and a few other states you cannot register to vote if your a convicted felon.
However another part of New York State Laws also requires that if you move out of state you must register in that state within 10 days on arrival from another state.
Social media platforms like Facebook and twitter and others do not want sex offenders on the forum due to the lack of cases where children congregate which would lead into major lawsuits with the social media platforms.
we also have had here in New York state several sex offenders create accounts online who are predicated and violent sex offenders who we had removed off the pages several times.
Point being its a continuous battle to keep them off line so an online group is helping to keep them off there called the Online Ped Patrol Group an organization who runs faces through face recognition once a predator is located on Facebook or on any other social media platform the platform is alerted to who they are with proof there account is automatically shut down and there email they used is blocked .
what we need to do to change the laws for sex offenders you may wanna know ? its simple
All sex offenders to remain on the registry for life
no petition for relief allowed
if this sex crime was committed of a child under the age of 13 they should be committed to supervised probation for life and no access to computers call phone or internet and internet providers should have access see if a person applying for internet doesn't get it if a predicated or violent sex offender .
As far as I'm Concerned you no longer have any rights once you cross that red line involving a child and your name should be plastered all over the media to let the community know what you are not hide it from the public including the age of the child but the child or victims name.
do you think this is harsh punishment or extreme punishment let me know .
