US Senate moves forward with Daylight Saving Time bill
The U.S. Senate is moving forward with a bill to make Daylight Saving Time permanent.
It passed by unanimous consent Tuesday afternoon.
If the house passes the Sunshine Protection Act and President Biden signs off, the change would start in 2023. The move would make it so that we no longer need to change our clocks like we did last weekend.
In order for states to make the change—the federal statute must be changed first.
There are nearly a dozen states across the U.S. that have already standardized daylight saving time.
My Comments
If this pass Ill be happier than a klu klux klan dammit boy !
